In Kyiv, a drone fell on the territory of an evangelical church — an explosion was avoided

On the night of June 10, a Russian drone shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces crashed into the grounds of the New Life Protestant Church in Kyiv. Despite the fire that broke out after the crash, the church buildings were almost undamaged, and an explosion was avoided.
This was reported by Anatoliy Kalyuzhny, bishop of the Council of Independent Evangelical Churches of Ukraine and pastor of this community.
“It was a difficult night for the whole country — dozens of drones and missiles attacked Ukrainian cities. One of the drones fell on the territory of our church. There was a fire, there is damage, but the main thing is that the drone did not explode,” the bishop said.
According to him, rescuers confirmed that the warhead did not detonate, and bomb disposal experts are expected to arrive at the scene.
Kalyuzhny called the situation a real miracle and thanked God that there were no casualties or major damage.
The New Life Church is one of the largest evangelical communities in Kyiv. It belongs to the Council of Independent Evangelical Churches of Ukraine, an association that unites communities based on biblical principles and actively serving society, especially in times of war.
