The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga noted that among the victims there were 236 men, 94 women, 10 girls and two boys. According to him, these are only officially documented cases, the real scale of these crimes may be much larger.
“Unfortunately, it is even hard to imagine the full scale of the horror that Russian criminals are committing in the occupied territories,” Sibiga said.
The minister emphasized that Ukraine is fighting for justice every day and is seeking to bring to justice all those responsible for these crimes. He also emphasized that the resilience of Ukrainians is key to preventing further Russian crimes.
“Every day of Ukrainian resilience is a victory of democracy over tyranny, of human rights over Russian slavery,” the minister added.
Sibiga emphasized that sexual violence, torture, abduction of children, indoctrination and genocide are part of Russia’s terrorist policy in the occupied territories.
“This is the reality that Russians have brought to Ukraine, it is an element of their terror policy,” the Foreign Minister said.
The Minister emphasized that Ukraine continues to cooperate with international partners to bring the aggressor to justice and restore justice.
