Russian occupants attack a civilian car in Dnipropetrovs’k region: a church minister is killed
On February 27, 2025, in the Dnipro region, Russian occupiers attacked a civilian car with a kamikaze drone. The tragedy occurred around 13:30 in one of the villages of the Marhanets community.

Russian troops sent a drone, preliminarily of the FPV type, at a car that was moving on the road between the villages. The attack killed a 51-year-old man, and his 52-year-old wife was seriously injured and hospitalized in critical condition.
The explosion damaged the car’s body, smashed the windows and destroyed the vehicle. Investigators are working at the scene to document yet another war crime by the Russian Federation.
The deceased was a minister of a rehabilitation center
The victim of the attack was Roman Grygurko, a senior minister at a rehabilitation center in the village of Novokyivka near Marhanets. He and his wife were returning home when the Russian army struck.
“This is not just an attack – it is a targeted murder, terror, which has a single goal: to steal, kill, destroy,” said the faithful of the Ukrainian Evangelical Church.
The Ukrainian Evangelical Church expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the minister. Believers note that Roman was a man with a good heart who devoted his life to serving God and helping others.
“We will always remember Brother Roman, but we know that he is now in God’s presence, and God Himself will wipe away every tear from his eyes” (Rev. 21:4), the church said in a statement.
They call on all those who are not indifferent to pray for the recovery of Roman’s wife and divine comfort for all who knew him.
