Scale of the attack: over 440 aerial targets

According to the Air Force, Ukrainian radio-technical troops detected and tracked 449 aerial attack vehicles, including:

The launch was carried out from the following directions: Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), as well as from Gvardeyskoye in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

This is one of the largest attacks on Ukrainian territory in terms of scale and intensity since the start of the full-scale war.

Consequences for the regions

Kyiv and the surrounding region — the main target

The capital suffered the most powerful shelling:

The following regions were also affected:

Separately, there were reports of the possible use of a Zircon missile in the Sumy region on the morning of November 14.

Zelensky’s position: “The attack was carefully calculated”

The President of Ukraine stated that the enemy deliberately tried to inflict maximum damage on civilians:

“The strike was specifically calculated to cause as much damage as possible to people and critical infrastructure. In Kyiv, dozens of high-rise buildings have been destroyed.”

The head of state stressed that Ukraine is responding with long-range strikes, but international support must be more decisive:

“The world must stop these strikes with sanctions. Russia is still selling oil and exploiting loopholes in the system. This must be stopped.”

Zelensky also stressed the need to speed up the supply of air defense systems:

“We need additional systems and interceptor missiles. Europe and the US can help — we are waiting for concrete decisions.”

Conclusion

The night strike was further proof that Russia is deliberately attacking the civilian population and critical infrastructure. The Christian community of Ukraine, like all citizens, views such attacks with concern, as they endanger human lives and undermine basic moral norms.

Ukraine continues to call on its international partners to increase sanctions pressure and speed up the transfer of air defense systems in order to reduce the scale of future tragedies.
